I began weaving around 20 years ago as an undergrad at Marshall University in Huntington, WV. A few years later I took a workshop with Bhakti Ziek at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago, IL. That led me to Kent State University where I earned my Masters of Fine Art in Textiles. Recently I’ve felt compelled to return to my weaving roots - the simple techniques that I learned in the beginning and made me fall in love with the process - tapestry. I am making pieces that I genuinely enjoy to make and hope that through this website endeavor I can continue to stock the yarn shelf and warp the loom and weave the next inspiration.
